Panch Mukhi Garments

You can find Panch Mukhi Garments right at the Nehru Bridge Corner in Babu Bazar. We are directly opposite the Patang Hotel, so it’s a pretty easy spot to point out to people who are lost. The shop is full of clothes stacked up on shelves and hanging from the walls. It’s a bit tight inside when we have more than a few customers, but we make do with the space we have. I spend most of my time folding things back up after people have looked through them. It’s a busy corner of the market, so there’s always a lot of noise from the street and people walking by. We’ve been at this location for a while, and the neighborhood hasn't changed much. The light isn't the best in the back of the shop, but we know where everything is kept. Dealing with wholesalers and keeping track of what people want to buy takes up most of our energy. We don’t have any fancy displays or a big website to show off what we sell. People just walk in, look at the fabric, and decide if they like it or not. It’s a very straightforward way of doing business. Sometimes we stay open late if the market is still buzzing, especially during the festival seasons. It’s just a normal garment shop run by people who live right here in the community. We've been at this corner long enough to know everyone who walks past.
