Anuj Bajaj & Co

Anuj Bajaj & Co is based in Bajaj Bhawan on Tokobari Road. We are right in the Tokobari area of Guwahati, near the old Kelvin Cinema. People still use the cinema as a landmark even though things have changed around here over the years. Our office is a busy place, especially in the mornings when everyone arrives. We have a lot of old wooden shelves filled with records. It’s not a very big space, so we have to stay organized or things get lost easily. The fans hum all day to keep the air moving. We get a lot of people dropping by since we are in such a central spot. The road outside is always full of rickshaws and people heading to the market. We usually take a break in the afternoon to have some tea and talk about the day. It’s a straightforward kind of place. We don't have any big marketing slogans or flashy signs out front. We just focus on the clients who walk through the door and the work on our desks. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just have to sit and wait it out, which is just how it goes here. We’ve been part of this community for a long time and plan to stay right where we are. It is just a regular office where we do our best to keep up.
