VSB STEEL INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED is located at SCO 137 in Sector 14. We aren't out in a big factory; we’re more in a commercial block where things are a bit cleaner than a typical mill. We handle the business side of steel. Most of our day is spent on the phone or looking at spreadsheets. It’s a lot of coordinating between suppliers and the people who actually need the material on their sites. Sector 14 is a decent area with plenty of shops nearby, so getting lunch is easy. We have a small office where we keep all the records and samples. It gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of files piling up, but we manage. We aren’t big on fancy titles or corporate structures. Everyone just does what needs to be done to keep the steel moving. Sometimes the market prices change fast, and we have to stay on top of that. We’ve been around this part of town long enough that people know where to find us. There’s no script when we talk to customers. We just tell them what we have available and when it can get there. It’s honest work. We deal with different grades of steel every day. Sometimes it’s stressful when logistics go wrong, but we figure it out. We’re just a regular group of people working in the steel trade. We try to keep our desks organized but usually there are too many papers.
