Vaishnavi Food Products

Our place is a bit of a trek to describe to people. We are located at T4/3 on the first floor in Dlf Phase-3. That is over in Village Pipiliya, near the Sultan Pur Pati post office in the Bazpur area of Udham Singh Nagar. We started Vaishnavi Food Products because we wanted to make stuff we would actually want to eat ourselves. It is a small operation. We do not have a massive assembly line with robots. Most things are handled by a few of us. The kitchen area stays busy most of the time. We deal with local ingredients when we can get our hands on them. It is a lot of packing and checking labels. The floor can get a bit slippery if we are not careful during the day. We have had to learn everything as we go along. It is not like those big food companies you see on the television. We are just out here in the village doing our bit. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to pause everything for a while. That is just life in this district. We keep the space as clean as possible, which is the main thing for us. People from the surrounding villages know us by now. We do not spend money on advertising. Word of mouth usually does the trick around here. We just want to make sure the food is right before it goes out the door. It is hard work but it keeps us going.
