Our place, Twenty Four Hour Cake Private Limited, is located at S27/9 GF in DLF Phase-3, Gurgaon. As the name suggests, we deal with cakes, and since we have twenty four hour in there, things can get pretty interesting at odd hours of the night. It’s a ground floor spot, which makes it easy for us to move supplies in and out without much trouble. The kitchen area is usually where all the action happens. You’ll find flour on the floor sometimes and the smell of baking bread or sugar in the air almost constantly. We aren't a fancy boutique bakery with crystal chandeliers; we are a working kitchen. We started this because we wanted to provide something simple and reliable for the people living around Gurgaon 122002. Our staff is a mix of people who just love baking and others who are good at keeping the orders straight. We have a lot of late nights and very early mornings here at S27/9. Sometimes the oven acts up or we run out of eggs at 2 AM, but we always figure it out somehow. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s ours. We don't put out polished brochures or anything like that. Most of our work comes from people who just know where we are in Phase-3 and like what we do. We take pride in the fact that we are actually baking things here, not just reselling stuff from somewhere else. It’s a busy, messy, and sweet place to be.
