Working up on the 17th floor of Tower-B in Emaar Digital Greens has its ups and downs. The view over Sec-61 and the Golf Course Extension Road is actually pretty good when the haze isn't too thick, but waiting for the elevators in the morning can be a real test of patience. We’re spread out across units 17 to 19. It’s a typical office space with a lot of computers and people drinking too much coffee. Because we are TuyaSmart, people expect things to be very high-tech, and I guess they are, but the day-to-day is just us trying to stay organized. The road outside is always under construction or has some kind of traffic mess, which makes getting to work a bit of an adventure most mornings. Inside, it's a bit quieter, though the open floor plan means you hear everyone’s conversations. We don’t have a lot of wall decorations or anything, just the stuff we need to work on. It’s a professional building, but we try to keep it relaxed among ourselves. Sometimes we stay late because the workload piles up, and the building gets really quiet then. We’ve got a few plants that someone forgets to water, and a kitchen area that usually has someone’s lunch smelling up the place. It’s just a regular group of people doing their jobs in a big glass tower. There is usually a bit of a scramble for the good snacks in the breakroom.
