Tohand Help Foundation

You can find us over at the Harijan Colony in Sector 43, care of Hari Chand. It’s right in the Dlf Qe area of Gurgaon. The Tohand Help Foundation is a very local effort. We don't have a big sign or a fancy office suite. We mostly work right here in the colony, helping out the families who live around us. It’s the kind of place where everyone knows everyone else’s business, which actually helps when someone needs a hand. We might be helping a kid with school fees one day or finding some medicine for an elderly neighbor the next. There’s no corporate structure here. We don't have meetings with agendas; we just talk over the fence or on the street corner. Being in Haryana, especially in a place like Gurgaon, things can be a bit overwhelming sometimes, but we just focus on our little corner. We aren't trying to be a big deal. We just want to be a helping hand for people who are struggling a bit. Our space is small and often crowded with people coming by to chat. We don't have any promotional materials or glossy photos. It’s just real life. Sometimes we run out of funds and have to wait until more comes in, but we keep going. It’s about being part of the community and doing what we can with what we have. It’s simple, honest work that feels right to us.
