Tineb Environment Foundation

We are based in H 915 at Jalvayu Tower, which is in Sector 56. It’s a residential tower, so we’re basically working out of an apartment. The Tineb Environment Foundation started because we noticed the local area needed some looking after. We focus a lot on the greenery around Sector 56 and trying to make sure the air and water are okay. It’s not a big professional operation. Usually, it’s just us and a few neighbors who care about the environment. We have plants all over the balcony and piles of recycling bins in the corner. We spend a lot of time talking to the building management and the other folks living in the towers. It’s more about local action than big global stuff. We don't have a PR team or any marketing budget. We just use our own time to plant trees or talk to people about reducing waste. Sometimes the elevator in the tower is broken, and we have to carry everything up the stairs, which is a bit of a workout. It’s a very grounded way to run a foundation. We don't go for using big words to sound important. We just want our neighborhood to be a bit cleaner and greener. Living in Jalvayu Tower means we see the impact of our work every time we walk out the front door. It’s practical, everyday effort, and we’re happy to do it.
