The Art Effect

Our workspace is in Unit Number 424 at The Sapphire, right on Sohna Road in Sector 49. It’s a busy part of Gurgaon, so there is always a lot of movement around the building. The Art Effect is what we call ourselves, but at the end of the day, we are just people who like to make things. We spend our hours here looking at colors, textures, and layouts. It’s a bit of a creative mess most days. We have swatches and samples piled up on the tables, and sometimes it's hard to find a clear spot to put down a cup of tea. We don't follow a strict corporate schedule. We work when there’s work to be done, which is most of the time. Being at The Sapphire is convenient since everything we need is pretty close by. We aren't the type to use big words to describe what we do. We just look at a space and try to figure out what would make it work better. Sometimes we get it right on the first try, and other times we have to chew on an idea for a few days. We talk to our clients like we talk to our friends—honestly and without any fluff. It’s a small team, so we know each other's habits and how to stay out of each other's way when things get busy. It’s just a regular job for us, and we’re happy to be doing it here.
