You can find us in Krishna Market, tucked behind the Panchayat Ghar on the Mehrauli-Gurgaon Road. Being near Sikanderpur in Sector 26 means it is always a bit chaotic with cars and people moving everywhere. Tanishka Trading Company is basically a warehouse and a small desk where we handle all the paperwork. We trade in different goods, so the inventory changes quite a bit depending on what is coming in. The market is an old place, and the ground is often dusty from all the construction going on in Gurugram. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to drivers who are trying to find the entrance behind the Panchayat Ghar. It is not a polished office. The walls could use a coat of paint, and the chairs are a bit squeaky. We stay busy loading and unloading crates, often working late into the evening when the heat finally dies down. The power goes out sometimes, and we just have to wait it out with the doors open. We know the other traders in Krishna Market, and we often help each other out when someone needs a hand moving something heavy. It’s a straightforward business. We buy things, we store them for a bit, and then we sell them to someone else. It is just the daily grind in Sector 26, and we are usually too busy to worry about much else.
