Swastik Care Centre

Our place is in Dayanand Colony, specifically at 759/35. It is a regular house that we turned into a care centre. Because it’s in a colony, it feels very much like a home. We have some beds and a few chairs for visitors. The garden in the front is small but we try to keep it green. It is usually pretty quiet around here, which is good for the people staying with us. We don't have big hospital machines or anything like that. It’s more about being there and helping out with daily needs. The kitchen is always busy making tea or simple meals. You can smell the cooking from the hallway. We have a few cupboards for supplies and medicine. The walls are decorated with a few old pictures to make it look less plain. Sometimes the neighbors come by to say hello. We spend most of our time just checking on everyone and making sure they are comfortable. It’s not a high-tech facility. The floors are tiled and easy to mop. We keep the curtains open during the day to let the sun in. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when many people come to visit at once, but we manage. We just do what needs to be done every day to keep the place running.
