Star Gear (India)

We've been at Shed No.-48D for quite a while now. It’s right in Sector 37, Udyog Vihar. If you know Phase-VI, you know it can get pretty busy around here with all the trucks moving in and out of the industrial area. Most days, we are just busy with the machines. It’s a workshop, so it’s never really quiet or particularly clean, but that is just how gear work goes. We deal with Star Gear (India) stuff, mostly cutting and shaping metal parts that go into bigger machines. People come by the shed looking for specific parts or just to check on an order they placed last week. We don't have a fancy front office or anything like that. Just a desk with too many papers and the smell of cutting oil everywhere. Sometimes the power cuts out or a machine needs fixing, which slows things down, but we just get back to it when we can. It’s mostly local guys working here who have been doing this for years. We know the neighbors in HSIDC pretty well. It isn't a glamorous job, just honest work that needs doing. Usually, you’ll find us wearing grease-stained clothes because that's just the reality of working with gears all day. We keep the doors open when it's hot, which is most of the time. If you drop by, you'll probably see us mid-task. It’s just us here, making things and trying to keep the schedule moving along as best as we possibly can.
