Shri Luxmi Batteries

We have been sitting here at 314 Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg for quite a long time now. If you know M G Road, you know how busy it gets with all the cars and noise. Our shop, Shri Luxmi Batteries, isn't much to look at from the outside, but we have what people need when their vehicle stalls or the power at home goes out. Usually, it's just me or one of the guys sitting behind the counter waiting for the next person to walk in. We spend a lot of our day moving heavy black boxes around and checking voltages with the old meters we’ve had forever. The floor stays a bit messy because of the crates, but that’s just how a battery shop is. When it gets really hot in the summer, we get a lot more people coming in because their car batteries just give up. We don't do much talking or fancy sales pitches here. Most folks who come in are in a hurry anyway. They just want to know if we have the right size in stock and how much it costs. We try to keep things simple. If we can fix a connection instead of selling a whole new unit, we just tell the customer that. It’s a straightforward way to run a business. We’ve seen many shops on this street come and go, but we’re still here at the same spot.
