Shri Bala Ji Clinic

Our clinic is situated on Patudhiroad in the Amar Colony part of Gurgaon. This is a very active area with lots of shops and people moving around all day long. The clinic itself is a small space compared to the big hospitals in the city but we have what we need. There is a small desk at the front and then the consultation room in the back. We have a few chairs for the patients to wait in but sometimes people have to stand if it is a really busy Monday. The floor is tiled and we mop it down every morning before we start seeing anyone. We have cabinets filled with files and some basic medical supplies like bandages and thermometers. Gurgaon is always noisy so you can hear the horns and the construction work from inside the clinic. We have a fan on the ceiling that wobbles a little bit when it is on the highest setting but it keeps the air moving. Most of the people who come to see us are living in Amar Colony or just down the road. We know most of the families by name because they have been coming here for a long time. It is a simple setup where we handle the usual coughs and fevers. We don't have fancy decorations, just the medical charts on the wall and the medicine cabinets.
