I & U Batteries

We are I & U Batteries, located right on Court Road in Shivaji Nagar. If you know where the Nehru Stadium is, we are directly opposite that, which makes us pretty easy to find. It is a good spot because people always seem to need help with their car batteries or home inverters around here. The shop is usually full of heavy battery units and that specific smell of metal and acid, which you just get used to after working here for a few years. It is a bit of a messy job, getting your hands dirty and lifting those heavy blocks all day long, but it keeps us busy and pays the bills. We don't have a fancy showroom with glass cases. It is more like a functional workshop where we get things done. Some days are quiet, especially when it rains and the road gets a bit muddy and slow, but usually, there is someone stopping by because their battery died at the worst possible time. We have been here in Shivaji Nagar for a long time and the locals know we are honest enough with our work. We don't have a big marketing budget or any of that. It is just us and our tools. Sometimes we sit outside on small stools during the evening when the power goes out, just watching the traffic go by the stadium. It is a simple life for us. We make sure the stuff we sell works and that is about it.
