Shanta Hospital

Shanta Hospital has been sitting here on Old Railway Road for a long time. The road itself is always busy, and being on Old Railway Road means there is a constant stream of cars and carts going past. The hospital is not one of those new glass-and-steel buildings you see in the fancy parts of town. It is an older structure that has seen a lot of history. We have several rooms and a small staff that keeps things running day and night. It is a bit worn around the edges, but it is sturdy. We do not have any polished slogans or marketing people telling us what to say. We just show up, do our shifts, and try to help the folks who come in through the main gates. Some days are quieter than others, but usually, there is a bit of a crowd in the hallway. We deal with all sorts of things here. It can get a bit hectic when several people arrive at once, but we manage. The smell of disinfectant is pretty strong, and the fans overhead are always humming to keep the heat away. It is a practical place for people who live nearby and do not want to travel too far for medical care. We just keep the doors open and do the best we can with what we have on Old Railway Road. It is a regular part of the neighborhood, and we like it that way.
