Pawan Kumar is the one you’ll usually find here. We are located at Khasra No 435, right near the Sat Narayan Mandir in Kharyia. This is in Hisar, 125001. Being near the temple means there is always a bit of peace and a bit of a crowd at the same time. The address is a bit specific with the Khasra number, but once you get to the mandir, it’s easy enough to find Pawan Kumar’s place. Hisar can get incredibly hot, so the shade near the temple is a blessing. We don't have a big air-conditioned office. It’s just a simple room where we keep our things. We are very much tied to the land here in Kharyia. Most of us have some connection to farming or local trade. Our work at the foundation isn't something we do for show. It’s just something that needs doing. We don't have a fancy board of directors or anything like that. It’s just Pawan and a few others who care about the neighborhood. We talk to the people who come to the temple and see what’s going on in their lives. It’s a very old-fashioned way of doing things, based on trust and being neighbors. We don't use a lot of big words to describe ourselves. We are just here, next to the Sat Narayan Mandir, doing what we can every day for the people around us. It is just simple village life.
