Sarvodya Foundation For Inclusion

You can find us on the first floor of House Number 54 in Sector 17A. It is a quiet residential area in Gurgaon, and being on the first floor means we get a good view of the street and the trees outside. Sarvodya Foundation For Inclusion isn’t some big institution with a glass front; it is just a floor in a house where we have set up some tables and chairs. The stairs are a bit steep, and the doorbell sometimes rings twice on its own, but it has character. We spend our days coordinating different programs and talking to families who stop by. It is the kind of place where the kitchen is always busy because someone is always making a fresh pot of coffee or tea for a guest. We don't have a receptionist or anything fancy like that, so if you walk in, you’ll probably just see one of us leaning over a computer or sorting through mail. We’ve been in this sector for a while now and most of the neighbors know us by now. The work we do keeps us pretty busy from morning until late afternoon, and there is always something that needs fixing or a phone call that needs to be returned. We like the hum of the neighborhood around us while we work. It feels real and grounded, which is exactly how we like to keep things around here.
