Samarpan Chits Private Limited is at J 1298 B, on the fourth floor in Palam Vihar. Being on the fourth floor means we have a bit of a climb if the lift is being fussy, which happens more than we’d like. Our office is a simple unit in the block. We handle chit funds for the people in this part of town. Palam Vihar is a place where everyone seems to be in a hurry, but we try to keep things steady here. The space is a bit small, and we have boxes of old records stacked against the walls. We have a few computers, but we still do a lot of things on paper to be safe. It’s a regular routine of checking names and amounts every single day. The light from the window is quite good in the morning. We don't have any corporate branding or logos on the stationery. It is just plain paper and standard pens. Sometimes we have a little snack in the office when we get a break. The staff is just a small group of us who have worked together for a long time. We don't use any complicated systems. If someone has a question about their account, we just pull out the folder and look it up. It is a basic way to work, but it avoids many mistakes. That is just how we do things here.
