Rise And Shine Foundation

We are set up at House Number 174 in Sector-46, right near the big water tank. If you live around here, you know that water tank is the main landmark for everything. The Rise And Shine Foundation operates out of this house, and it’s a pretty straightforward operation. We use a couple of the rooms for our office work and keep the rest for storage and meetings. It is a typical Sector-46 house with a small gate and a bit of a garden in the front that we try to keep tidy. Most days are spent handling the logistics of our local programs and talking to people from the community who drop by. We don't have any fancy marketing people or a big budget for decorations, so the walls are mostly covered in calendars and notes we’ve scribbled to ourselves. Sometimes the neighborhood dogs bark a bit too much during our meetings, but that is just part of being in a residential area. We’ve been here for a good while, and the routine is pretty set now. We start early, drink a lot of chai, and try to make sure we’ve answered everyone who reached out to us the day before. It is not glamorous work, but it is steady and it keeps us busy. If you see the water tank, you’re basically at our front door, and there is usually someone around to say hello.
