You can find us over at 401 Gladdiola on Hanuman Road in Vile Parle East. It’s a busy part of Mumbai, so there’s always noise from the street coming up to the fourth floor. Remsons Industries has been in this office for quite a stretch. It’s not a modern glass tower, just a regular building where people come to do their jobs. We have a few different rooms for the various departments, but we’re all pretty close together. The air conditioning is usually working hard because it gets quite humid here. We spend a lot of time looking over production schedules and making sure the factory side of things is running okay. Sometimes the files get stacked up on the floor when we run out of shelf space. We use the local trains to get to work, so the office usually fills up all at once in the morning. We don't have any fancy mission statements on the walls. Mostly, we just have calendars and a few photos. There is a small tea stall nearby where we often send someone to get a batch of cutting chai for the afternoon break. It’s a steady kind of life here. We deal with the usual glitches like power cuts or heavy rain during the monsoon, but we just keep going. The desks are a bit cluttered with pens and notebooks, but everyone knows where their things are. It’s a practical workspace for practical people. That is about all there is to say about us.
