The building is a big boxy structure designed to hold a lot of equipment. We don’t have any fancy landscaping or a grand entrance. It’s just a gate and a driveway where the delivery trucks back in. Inside, the space is divided into different sections for storage and assembly. It’s usually quite busy, with people moving items around on pallet jacks. The lighting is mostly fluorescent, and it can get a bit chilly in the winter mornings before the sun hits the roof. We don’t do much in terms of promotion; we just focus on making sure the equipment is ready to go. Most of our day is spent looking at lists, checking parts, and making sure everything is loaded correctly. It’s a lot of physical work and logistics. We have a small corner for an office where the computer sits, but even that is usually covered in a bit of dust from the warehouse floor. It’s a no-nonsense environment. We all know what needs to be done, and we just get on with it. It’s not the most glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We eat our tiffins in the small break area and then get right back to the orders.
