Nanisha Foundation

We are located at Booth No. 164 on the Huda Ground, right near the LIC building. It is a pretty easy spot to find if you already know the area well. The booth itself is quite small, but we have managed to fit everything we need inside the walls. It is a bit of a squeeze when more than three people are in there at the same time. We spend our days dealing with a lot of walk-ins since we are in such a public and visible spot. The ground outside gets quite busy when there are local events or markets happening on the weekends. We have a small desk positioned near the door and some metal shelves for our files. It gets a bit hot in the summer months because the booth is made of concrete and metal, but we have a small table fan that helps keep the air moving. We don’t have a big team of people, just a few of us who take turns being here during the day. We mostly just try to get stuff sorted for the folks who come in to see us. There is no complicated hierarchy or bosses here. If something needs fixing or someone needs help with an application, we just get up and do it. It is a very hands-on way to work. We like being near the LIC building because it is a landmark everyone knows. Most of our furniture is second-hand, but it serves our purpose. We just keep things simple and hardworking.
