Our place is located at 97/96 in the MIDC area on Mehrauli Road. N U Cork Products Pvt Ltd has been operating from this site for a good number of years. It’s an industrial patch, so there’s always trucks moving in and out and a lot of noise from the neighboring units. We deal with cork, which is a bit of a niche thing compared to the heavy metal shops nearby. The office is right inside the gate, and the factory floor takes up most of the back space. It gets quite dusty, especially in the summer months when the wind picks up off Mehrauli Road. We have a small team here. Most of the guys have been with us for a long time and know the machines better than anyone else. It isn’t a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We spend our mornings checking the inventory and making sure the orders are ready for pickup. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to wait for the generator to kick in, which is always a bit of a hassle. We don't have a big corporate lobby or fancy coffee machines. Usually, it’s just tea from the stall down the road. It’s a practical setup. People come by for bulk orders or just to see samples of what we’re making that week. We keep the gates open during shift changes and try to stay on top of the paperwork.
