Maudrik Development Foundation

Maudrik Development Foundation is located at B-30 in Phase-3 of Sahib Kunj, which is part of the New Palam Vihar area in Gurugram. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here if you’re coming from the main city, but it is a quiet spot where we can actually get things done. Our office is just a regular building, nothing too special to look at from the outside. Inside, it is mostly just us and a few computers and a lot of notebooks. We focus on development projects, which means a lot of planning and even more talking on the phone. It can get quite hot in the summer months, so the fans are always going full blast while we work. We are a small team, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, whether it is typing up a report or going out to meet people in the nearby areas. We don't really have a set hierarchy here; we just all sit in the same room and work through the tasks for the day. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish up things, but that is just part of the job. Sahib Kunj is a growing area, and being here helps us stay close to the kind of work we are trying to do. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place, and we like that it stays away from the hustle of the big commercial hubs.
