Manorama & Shashi Foundation

Manorama & Shashi Foundation is located in Apartment 202 at World Spa East. That is over in Sector 30. It is a fairly quiet place compared to the more crowded parts of the city. We use the spare rooms in the apartment for all of our foundation work. It gets a little bit cramped when the whole team is here at once, but we make it work somehow. There are often boxes of supplies stacked up in the hallway when we are getting ready for a project. The kitchen table is where we do most of our brainstorming and planning. We are not a large organization with hundreds of staff members. It is just us and a few dedicated people who come by to help out when they have some free time. We spend a lot of our hours looking at spreadsheets and making phone calls to coordinate things. Being based in Sector 30 is quite convenient for most of the people we deal with. The security guards at the building know us well since we have people coming and going throughout the day. We try to keep our files organized, but the paperwork usually gets a bit messy by Friday. We do not have a big, flashy sign out front. Most people find out about us through friends or neighbors. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily tasks. It is mostly about trying to help out where we see a gap.
