Being near the highway means there is always a lot of movement. Trucks are constantly passing by, and the air always feels like it’s full of that road energy. Inside our place, it’s all about the filters. We make them for all kinds of systems, and it’s a lot of repetitive work, but it has to be done carefully. If a filter isn’t right, the whole machine could have problems later on. We have a lot of people working here in different shifts. It’s not a quiet place, but there’s a rhythm to it once you get used to the sound of the equipment. We take our breaks when we can, and there’s usually a bit of talk about the traffic on the way in. The building itself is pretty functional. It’s designed for work, not for looking pretty. We have piles of materials coming in and finished products going out to the highway. It’s a big operation, but at the end of the day, it’s just a group of people making sure the parts are made correctly.
