If you drive down the Delhi-Jaipur Highway, you’ll find us right near the 38th Mile Stone. It’s a busy stretch of road, especially with all the trucks moving toward Khandsa. Our place on Behrampur Road isn't hard to spot if you’re looking for Mahesh Grc. We spend a lot of time outside in the yard where the molds are kept. The highway noise is just part of the background now, we don't even hear the horns anymore. It gets quite dusty out here, so everything has a thin layer of grey on it by evening. We don't have a corporate office or anything like that, just a desk and some chairs where we sit to talk about the day's tasks. Usually, it's just about getting the concrete mixes right and making sure the pieces set properly before they go out. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, like when it rains too hard and we have to cover everything up fast. We’ve been at this location for a while, and the neighbors are all doing similar work. It’s a practical setup. We wake up, get to the site, and start moving stuff around. There’s no mystery to it. People come by looking for specific shapes or just to see what we’ve got ready in the yard. It’s just us doing the daily grind by the side of the road, keeping track of the miles and the loads. It is a bit rough around the edges.
