Maac Help Foundation

Maac Help Foundation is tucked away in South City-1 in Gurgaon, specifically at A-319. Gurgaon is a place with a lot of big companies and tall buildings, but our office is much more modest than that. We are in a residential block which helps us stay connected to the actual families living here. We don't have a big corporate board or fancy titles for everyone. We just call ourselves helpers because that is what we do. The office is usually filled with papers and tea cups because we spend a lot of time talking through different ways to assist people. It isn't always organized perfectly, but we know where everything is. We don't use a lot of complicated language when we talk to people. We just listen and see what the problem is. South City-1 is a nice area and being here makes it easy for people to reach us without traveling too far. We didn't start this to get famous or make a lot of money. It was just a project that grew out of a few conversations among friends. We don't have a big budget for decorations, so the walls are mostly bare except for a few calendars and notes. It’s a real place run by real people who just want to spend their time doing something helpful for others. There is always a chair open for someone who needs to talk.
