Lmehta India (Opc) Private Limited is located over in Sector 46. Our specific spot is House No 3039. It’s very much a local, neighborhood setup here in Gurgaon. Since it’s an OPC, it’s a smaller operation, and being in a residential sector makes it feel much less stressful than those big business districts. We don’t have a big lobby or a fancy receptionist; it’s just the house where we’ve set up our workspace. Most days are pretty quiet, except for when the neighbors are out or there’s some construction nearby, which seems to happen every other week in this city. The 122001 area is pretty central, so it’s not too hard for us to get around when we need to. We’ve got our desks pushed against the walls to make the most of the room. It’s a practical way to work. You won’t find any corporate art on the walls, just some calendars and maybe a few notes taped up. We do our own cleaning and make our own tea, keeping things simple. It’s a good environment for focusing. Sometimes we step out for a walk around the block just to get some air and a break from the screens. It’s a very different vibe from the high-rise offices, and we prefer it that way. It’s just a regular house on a regular street where we happen to run our business. We’ve been here long enough that the local delivery guys know us.
