Kharakia Trading Private Limited

Our office is at 1509/26 Manohar Nagar, right off Basai Road near Pataudi Chowk in Gurgaon. It’s a pretty crowded area with lots of traffic, so getting here can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We do trading, which basically means we are always on the phone or checking lists of what is coming in and what is going out. There is always a stack of invoices on the desk and someone is usually knocking on the door with a delivery. We started this business because we knew the local market well and had some good contacts. Gurgaon has changed a lot, but this part of town still feels like the old days. The room is a bit small for all the stuff we have, but we make it work. We don't have a big sign or anything, just our name on the door. Dealing with different suppliers can be stressful when things don't arrive on time. We just try to stay calm and figure it out. Most of the day is just spent talking to people and making sure the prices are right. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do our job and go home to our families at the end of the day. It’s honest work and it keeps us on our toes. Sometimes the printer jams or we run out of tea, but that's life in a small office.
