Jha Engineers

Our place is over in Heera Nagar, right on Khandsa Road in Sector 10. It is quite close to the Mata Mandir, so we usually hear the temple bells in the morning when we are opening up. We’ve been operating Jha Engineers from this spot for a while now. It’s mostly just metal work and fixing things that people bring in. The shop floor is usually covered in scrap and tools, which is how we like it because it means we are actually working. Some days are slower than others, but there’s always something that needs oiling or welding. We don’t have a big reception area or anything. You just walk in and talk to whoever isn't holding a torch at the moment. The neighborhood is okay, though the road gets quite jammed during the evenings. We try to finish our main tasks before the sun goes down and the traffic gets really bad. It’s just me and a couple of other guys mostly. We learned most of what we know just by doing it over and over again. If something breaks, we try our best to figure out why it happened and how to stop it from happening again. It’s simple work, but it keeps us busy and pays the bills. We don't spend money on fancy brochures because our hands are usually too dirty to hold them anyway.
