It’s basically just a front room for waiting and a back room where the consultations happen. We don't have a big team of receptionists or a fancy phone system. Usually, it’s just the doctor and a helper or two. We handle the basic stuff—fevers, aches, and general check-ups for the local folks. The furniture is a bit old, and the paint might be peeling a little in the corners, but it is clean. People in Tauru know us as a place where they can get a quick word with the doctor without much fuss. We don't use a lot of high-tech gadgets; we mostly rely on experience and a thermometer. On market days, it gets very busy around here, and the noise from the street comes right through the windows. We close up when the last patient is seen, which sometimes is later than we planned. It is a simple setup for a simple town. We aren't trying to impress anyone with decor. We are just here to provide a basic service to our neighbors and keep everyone as healthy as we can.
