Humanity Still Alive Foundation

We are up in Flat No. 701, Tower-8 of Taksila Heights in Sector-37C. It’s one of those big apartment complexes with lots of people. Humanity Still Alive Foundation started because a few of us living in the building realized we didn't even know our neighbors, let alone the folks living just outside the gates. We decided to use one of our flats as a base to organize some help for the local area. It’s a bit different than an office because it’s a home. We have meetings around the dining table after work. We picked this name because sometimes it feels like people forget to be kind, and we want to show that it’s still possible to do something good. We do small things like collecting old clothes from the other towers or helping out with food nearby. It’s not a big operation at all. We all have our own lives and jobs, so we do this in the evenings and on weekends. Sometimes the security guards help us move boxes around. It’s a nice way to bring the people in the sector together for something other than just complaining about the lift or the bills. We don't have a big budget, just what we put in ourselves. It’s just us trying to be decent neighbors and helping out where we can see a need. It’s pretty simple really and it makes us feel good.
