Our office is on the first floor in Palam Vihar, at Vinod Sharma’s place, 399 D. We are right there in Gurgaon, postcode 122001. House Of Women Wellness Foundation is a small setup where we focus on the health and well-being of the women in this part of town. Gurgaon can be a very fast and loud place, so we wanted a quiet spot where women could just come and talk about their health issues without a lot of fuss. It’s not a hospital or anything like that. It’s more of a community space. We have a few chairs, a desk, and usually some tea going. Most of us who work here have our own families and we know how hard it is to take care of yourself when you’re looking after everyone else. We don't do big advertisements. Mostly, a woman comes in, we help her out with some advice or connect her to a doctor, and then she tells her sister or her neighbor. That’s how we’ve grown. The office is a bit small, and sometimes we run out of chairs if too many people show up at once, but we make it work. It’s just about being there for each other in a way that makes sense for real life. We aren't professionals in suits, just local people who want to see the women in our neighborhood doing well and staying healthy. It’s a simple thing for us.
