Hemjag Welfare Foundation

We run the Hemjag Welfare Foundation out of apartment C-201 in the Alaknanda CGHS building. That is at Plot Number 45 in Sector-56. It is a residential area, so it stays fairly quiet during the day which helps us get things done. We are not some huge nonprofit with a fancy office suite. It is just a regular flat where we keep our files and meet up to talk. Sometimes we have to move the laundry to find a place to sit, but that is just how it is when you are starting out. We have been here in Sector-56 for a while now. Most of our work happens right here in the community. We do not have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just focus on the people nearby. It is a bit of a juggle sometimes, balancing life and the foundation work in the same space. We do not use corporate jargon or have long-winded mission statements. We just saw some things that could be better and decided to try and help. The neighbors are mostly used to people coming and going from C-201 by now. We try not to make too much noise. It is just a simple, practical way to do some good without needing a whole lot of resources. We are just regular people trying to make things a little easier for everyone else.
