You can find us over at Jmd Megapolis on Sohna Road in Gurgaon. We are way up on the eighth floor in unit EF-854. Gurgaon is always so busy, and sometimes being up that high feels like we’re away from all the noise downstairs. Happiness Mappers Foundation is just a small group of us who wanted to do something that felt okay at the end of the day. We spend a lot of time looking at maps and talking to people in different sectors. It’s not always easy, and the office gets pretty cluttered with files and notes. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone to make us look professional. We just wear what’s comfortable and get to work. The commute on Sohna Road can be a real pain, especially when it rains, so some of us get in a bit late sometimes. We don’t mind, as long as the work gets done. There’s a lot of coffee involved in our daily routine. We started this because we felt like people were getting lost in the shuffle of the big city. It’s just about connecting dots for us. Sometimes we sit in the cafeteria downstairs just to see a different view for a bit. It’s a lot of trial and error here. We don’t have all the answers, but we try to find them by talking to neighbors and local business owners. It is simple work, really.
