Haldiram at Sohna Chowk is almost always packed. It’s a busy intersection and people are constantly coming in and out. We spend most of our time at the counters, either taking orders or packing up boxes of snacks for people to take home. It gets really loud in here with all the voices and the sound of the billing machines. We aren't here to give you a polished experience. We’re just trying to keep up with the demand. The floors need sweeping every hour because of the heavy foot traffic. We have a big team, but it still feels small when the afternoon rush hits. We don't use any fancy language or follow a corporate script. We just tell you what’s available and get it packed for you. Sometimes we run out of the popular items and things get a bit stressful. The kitchen staff works hard to keep the food coming out. We see everyone from students to elderly people who have lived near Sohna Chowk forever. Our job is simple: keep the shelves full and the lines moving. We don't have a big story to tell. We just show up, do our work, and make sure the place is ready for the next day. It’s a lot of manual work and staying on our feet for long hours. That’s just the way it is at a busy spot like this.
