Golden Battery & Components

Our shop is number eight right in the Nehru Stadium Market, which stays pretty crowded most days of the week. Being near Sona Chowk on Jail Road means there is always noise from the street, but it’s a good spot for a battery business. We handle all sorts of batteries and different components that go with them. Most of the time, the floor is covered with crates and heavy units that we're moving in or out. It’s a small shop, but we’ve crammed a lot into it over the years. We see a lot of the same faces from around the market, people popping in because their vehicle won't start or they need a specific component for their setup. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, especially when we are moving the heavy stock around. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure everything is counted and ready for whoever comes in. Sometimes we're dealing with individual customers, and other times it's bulk orders for bigger outfits. We keep the shop open late most evenings because that’s when people usually realize they have a battery problem. It is a lot of lifting and checking voltages, nothing too complicated but it keeps us on our feet. The market can be a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it, but once you find Shop 8, you'll see we're usually busy with something or just catching our breath between deliveries.
