Gitansh Foundation

The Gitansh Foundation is over in Gandhi Nagar, Gurgaon. We’re at House No 17, Street No 12, right near Bank Street. It’s a busy part of town. Chikku Das Rustagi is who you’d look for if you’re trying to find the place. The office is basically just a couple of rooms in a house. It feels more like a home than a place of business, which we actually like. It’s comfortable. We don’t have any slick brochures or corporate videos. We just talk to people. Most of our work involves a lot of paperwork and making sure we stay on top of all the rules and regulations. It’s not the most exciting part of the job, but it has to be done. We have a small courtyard where we sometimes sit when the weather isn't too hot. It’s a good place to think. Gurgaon 122001 is a busy area, and there’s always something happening outside our door. We’ve had to learn how to ignore the noise and just focus on what’s in front of us. Our team is small, just a few people who care about the work. We don't always agree on everything, but we figure it out. That’s how things get done in a place like this. We’ve been here for a while and the people on Street 12 are all pretty friendly. It feels like we’re part of the neighborhood. We usually close up around sunset, once the streetlights start coming on and the traffic gets a bit louder.
