General Hospital

If you walk down Bus Stand Road, you'll find us right near the Shama Restaurant. It’s a busy area because of the buses coming and going all the time. Our hospital is a place where locals come when they need more than just a quick check-up at a small clinic. We have different sections for different needs, but it’s all fairly straightforward. The building is a bit older, and you can tell it’s been used a lot, but we make sure it stays clean for the patients. Being so close to the bus stand means we get people from out of town sometimes who just need help while they're traveling through. It can be quite loud outside with the buses honking and people shouting at the station, but we’re used to it by now. Inside, we just focus on the people who need us. We don't have any fancy mission statements or slogans on the walls. We just have our equipment and our staff doing their best. Sometimes it's a bit chaotic when several people arrive at once, but we just take it one person at a time until the lobby is empty. The smell of food from the Shama Restaurant nearby sometimes wafts in if the wind is right. It’s just a normal, busy hospital in a noisy part of town. We stay open because people around here need a place they can rely on to help them get healthy.
