Foundation For Climate Protection

Foundation For Climate Protection is based at 1K-72 in the NIT area. It’s a straightforward place. We are not in a fancy business park; we are just in a regular neighborhood building. NIT has its own charm, though the roads can be a bit bumpy sometimes. Our office is basically a few rooms where we keep our files and computers. We talk a lot about the weather and the environment because that is what we do. It is not a high-tech lab or anything, just a few people worried about the climate and trying to do something about it. We have a few plants on the windowsills that we try to keep alive, though we sometimes forget to water them. The office gets a lot of afternoon sun, so it stays warm. We have a routine of starting early before the heat gets too bad. We do not have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just us. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or two, and we just sit and talk until it comes back on. It is a very grounded way to work. We have been at 1K-72 for a while and the neighbors know us. We are not trying to impress anyone with a shiny office. We just want to get through our tasks for the day and hope we are making some kind of a difference with our climate work. It's a bit messy sometimes with all the printouts, but we know where everything is.
