Fortis Hospital

Our hospital is located at 81 A in Krishan Vihar. It is a residential sort of area, so we are surrounded by houses and small local shops. It feels very much like a part of the local neighborhood rather than a cold institution. The building stands out a bit but it is not flashy or modern-looking. We have got a regular routine here. The day starts with the night shift handing over to the morning crew. You will see the staff arriving on scooters and parking them out front. We have a few floors with different wards for the patients. It is the kind of place where you hear the fans humming and the sound of footsteps on the tiles. We do not have a big PR team writing stuff for us. We just focus on the patients who come in from the nearby streets. The waiting room has a TV that is usually on a news channel, and there is always someone waiting for their turn. The doctors here have their own small offices. We try to keep the paperwork organized, but it piles up sometimes on the desks. The windows look out over the rooftops of Krishan Vihar. It is a busy place but we try to keep a calm head. Most of the people working here live just a few kilometers away. We have seen kids grow up in this neighborhood over the years. It is just a local spot where we do our work.
