Our clinic is situated in House No C 84, up on the fourth floor in Ashoka Enclave Second, Faridabad. Being on the fourth floor means we get a bit of a breeze if we leave the windows open, but we usually keep the air conditioning on because of the heat. There isn't an elevator in this particular part of the building so we get plenty of exercise going up and down every day. The space is split into a couple of rooms where we handle the hair and skin consultations. We have some mirrors on the walls and those adjustable chairs that you see in many clinics. The lighting is bright so we can see what we are doing clearly. There are often bottles and jars of various products sitting on the shelves near the sinks. We have a small desk near the entrance where we keep our ledger and a telephone. The view from the balcony shows the rooftops of the other houses in the enclave and some of the laundry hanging out to dry. It’s a very local feel here, not like those fancy malls. Sometimes the water pressure is a bit low so we have to manage with what we have. We keep some magazines on a small table for anyone waiting their turn. It’s just us doing our daily work in a regular neighborhood house among the local residents.
