Firstsalary Foundation

We started Firstsalary Foundation over at X-214 in Regency Park II. It's right in DLF Phase IV, Sector 27. Most of us here remember that feeling of getting a first paycheck. It changes things for a person and their family. We spent a lot of time thinking about how to help people get to that point. It's not fancy work, just everyday stuff to get people moving. Living in Sector 27, you see all kinds of folks looking for a break. Our office is a small spot, nothing too big or impressive. People drop by and we talk about work and life. It gets busy sometimes, especially on Mondays when everyone is starting their week. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who care about the neighborhood. We've been at this for a while now. The Regency Park area is nice, with plenty of trees and families around. We try to keep things simple here. No big speeches or anything like that. Just trying to be useful. Some days are harder than others when the paperwork piles up on the desk. But seeing someone actually get that first salary makes the long hours worth it. We've got coffee usually if anyone stops in to chat. It's just a regular office space where we try to do some good. Sometimes the printer jams or the internet goes slow, but we manage. We aren't trying to change the whole world, just our little corner of Gurgaon. It's home.
