Eye Q Hospital

This place is way up on the 18th floor of Building 5, Tower B in DLF Cyber City. It’s a bit different being so high up compared to a street-level shop. You have to take the elevators, and sometimes there is a wait during the lunch hour when everyone in the building is moving around. The view from up here is mostly other glass buildings and the metro line snaking through the city. We get a lot of office workers coming in during their breaks or right after they finish their shifts. Since we’re in a big corporate park, everything feels a bit more modern, but we still try to keep it simple inside. There are a few rows of chairs and the desks are usually piled with files. We spend a lot of time on the computer, which is ironic given what we do. The lighting is all fluorescent, and the carpets are that dark blue color you see in every office. It’s a busy spot, and the phones ring quite a bit throughout the afternoon. We try to keep the coffee machine running because the days can get long. It’s a lot of walking back and forth between the different exam rooms. Even though it’s a big building, we’ve gotten to know the security guards and the folks at the other offices on our floor quite well.
