Echs Polyclinic

This polyclinic is over in Dundahere Phase 4. If you know the Dundahere area, you probably know the building. It is a practical space designed for seeing a lot of people in a day. We have the usual setup with desks for registration and several rooms where the medical staff works. It gets quite crowded in the mornings because everyone wants to be first in line. The chairs in the waiting area have been there for a long time and they are pretty sturdy. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because it doesn't help anyone get better. Most of our days are spent checking IDs and looking over medical records. Phase 4 is a busy part of Dundahere, so there is always a hum of activity outside. We have a small group of people working here who have seen just about everything. We don't have a mission statement hanging on the wall; we just have a clock that tells us when it’s time to start. The air can get a bit stuffy when the clinic is full, so we keep the windows open when the weather allows. It’s a no-nonsense kind of place. People come here because they need a doctor and we are here to provide that. We don’t use corporate speak or try to sound more important than we are. It is just a local clinic doing its daily business in Dundahere.
