E. I. Dupont India Pvt Ltd. has its office on the 7th Floor of C Tower in DLF City, Phase III. The address is Plot No- 25A. It is one of those tall glass buildings that you see all over Gurgaon. Even though it is a big international name, our local office here feels like any other workplace once you get past the security downstairs. We spend our days at our desks, mostly working on computers and talking to people in different parts of the country. The view from the 7th floor lets us see the traffic building up on the roads below. The commute to Phase III can be a real headache, especially when it rains and the roads get flooded. Inside the office, it is usually quiet except for the sound of typing and the occasional meeting in the corner. We have a small pantry where we go to get water or coffee. The desks are often covered with piles of reports and folders that we haven't gotten around to filing yet. We aren't doing anything incredibly exciting on a daily basis. It is mostly just coordinating shipments, checking compliance, and making sure the numbers in our system are right. We work hard, but we also look forward to the end of the day. It’s a professional environment but we keep it pretty relaxed among ourselves. We just try to get through the task list every single day.
