Dr Dinesh Chand Gupta Clinic

The clinic is tucked away in Shop Number 24. It’s in the basement area of the Sector Main Huda. If you are near the Main Huda Market, you’ve probably walked past us a dozen times without noticing. Being in a basement means we don’t get a lot of natural light, so we keep the overhead lights on all day long. It stays a bit cooler down here in the summer though, which is nice. The stairs leading down can be a little steep, so we always tell people to watch their step. It’s a small shop, not much room for anything extra. We have Dr Dinesh Chand Gupta’s desk in the back and a few chairs for the patients. The market upstairs is always humming with noise, so you can hear people shouting and cars honking all day. We’ve been in this spot for years. Most of our regulars are shopkeepers from the market or people who live in the nearby blocks. We don't have a receptionist most of the time, so you just kind of come in and wait your turn. Sometimes the drain outside gets clogged when it rains and we have to deal with that. It’s just a basic local clinic. No fancy machines or bright signs. We just open the doors, see who comes in, and do our best to help them out before heading home for the day.
