Direction-Architecture,Interior,Landscaping

We are based in Gurgaon, at House Number 32 in Sector 27. It is part of DLF Phase IV. The name Direction-Architecture,Interior,Landscaping is a bit long, but it covers what we do. We deal with the building shells, the inside stuff, and the gardens too. Gurgaon is always dusty with all the construction going on, so we spend a lot of time cleaning off our drafting tables and keyboards. Being in Sector 27 is handy because it is a central enough spot for us to reach different sites across the city. We have got a small setup here. It is not one of those high-rise corporate offices; it feels more like a home that happens to have a lot of rulers and color samples lying around. We spend our mornings checking emails and the afternoons usually involve driving around to check on laborers or looking for specific tiles in the markets. Landscaping is a bit tricky in this region because of the extreme heat, so we end up talking about plants and irrigation quite a bit. It is not always glamorous. There is a lot of arguing with suppliers and making sure the measurements are right on the interior drawings so things actually fit. We just keep our heads down and do the work. The office can get a bit messy when we have three different projects going on at once, with fabric swatches and stone samples piled up on every surface.
